THE EARLY HELP STRATEGY
The Early Help Strategy looks at the borough’s expectations of local agencies to work together to identify children and families who would benefit from early help; undertake an assessment of the need for early help; and for agencies to provide targeted early help services to address the assessed needs of a child and their family which focuses on activity to significantly improve the outcomes for the child.

WORKING TOGETHER TO SAFEGUARD CHILDREN is the latest (March 2015) government guide to inter-agency working to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
This guidance aims to help professionals understand what they need to do, and what they can expect of one another, to safeguard children. It focuses on core legal requirements, making it clear what individuals and organisations should do to keep children safe and how they should share information and work together to do so.
