You and your child are welcome at any of our sessions. All our centres are inclusive and accessible.
If you need any kind of additional support with access or to get the most from any session, please ring the relevant centre in advance and we will make sure you get that support.

A coffee morning for parents of children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and social and communication needs.
DOWNS SYNDROME FRIENDSHIP & CREATIVITY GROUP
Support and friendship group for parents with children of all ages who have Downs Syndrome.
Parent/carer only coffee morning offering independent advice and support for parents of children with SEND of all ages.
The Lewisham SEND Information & Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS for short) can help to provide advice, information and support on all SEND matters. You can find more information on their service by downloading the SENDIASS leaflet here

LINKING WITH OTHER PARENTS
If you feel a little isolated and want to find ways of linking up with other parents locally in the same situation, some of the following routes may help you:
Many of these also have Facebook groups you can join. Or call in any of our children’s centres and join our friendly stay and play sessions.
You may feel you want to join a group for parents whose children have the same condition as yours, or a general support group for parents of children with SEND.
CONTACT provides support, advice and information for families with disabled children, no matter what their condition or disability, including information on special education needs, finance and welfare and transition for 14 – 25 year olds in the borough. They also run workshops on topics such as challenging behaviour, transition and stress management, and family events during half term and the summer holidays.
