Family Fun Easter fun 2024

Here at Lewisham Children and Family Centres there’s loads going on to keep your little ones happy this Easter.ย  Have some silly fun with the hilariousย  Gilbert Giggles, bust some shapes at Rhythm & Rhyme or come and get messy at Mud, Mess & More.

Youth First are opening youth clubs across Lewisham during the Easter holidays. Full of fun-packed activities and free for young people aged 8-19 years old (to 25 with SEND) to have fun, develop skills, meet other young people and talk to our dedicated youth workers.

 

Easter Holiday Activity Fund Sign ups.

If your child is entitled toย free school meals, you should have received an email via your childโ€™s school with a unique code to sign up for Holiday activities. Please respond to the email to secure a place with your chosen site at Youth First. In addition, you will need to sign your child up as a Youth First member, please use this address:ย www.youthfirst.org.uk/join

Join the Migration Museum during the Easter holidays for a day of fun activities for the whole family, including:

Zine Making:ย Join artist and educator Biancha Samuel-Reid for a drop-in creative paper-crafts workshop. Learn how to make your very own zine inspired by the amazing places and art found in Lewisham.

Book reading, crafts and games:ย Join Desriee Asomuyide, founder and CEO of inclusive award-winning brand Little Omo. Desriee will read from her bookย Isaiahโ€™s Extraordinary Mumย and will be leading a range of craft activities and games throughout the day. Little Omo provides educational materials and toys for children that include and teach them about diverse cultural representation. Book readings at 11am, 12pm and 2pm.

No booking needed โ€“ drop in anytime from 11amโ€“3pm to join in the fun!

 

There are lots of workshops and activities across the Easter holidays, details can be found here.

  • These workshops are open to all ages and abilities. You can book free National Maritime Museum tickets in advance or just turn up on the day. Individual sessions cannot be pre-booked in advance, but there will be plenty of opportunities to drop in throughout the day.
  • Activities will take place in the Learning Space on the ground floor of the National Maritime Museum. Please note that due to building workย some areas of the Museum will be closed, including the Great Map and the AHOY! Children’s Gallery.

Free fashion fun this Easter!

Sashay on down to the docks for our fun, free Easter holiday activities inspired by our Fashion City exhibition.

Create your own pom pom accessory, get hands on with our unique fashion collection and hear the stories of the people and objects that helped make London the fashion capital of the world. Plus don’t forget that children under 12 can see Fashion City for free.
