It’s National Breastfeeding Week – Support for you

Breastfeeding is a skill that we need help and support with at some point and we all have a part to play in supporting breastfeeding parents. This year’s theme is encouraging others to help you on your breastfeeding journey. Here are some great tips for those around you to support you whilst you feed your baby.

Face to face drop-in breastfeeding hubs are now back!

The Lewisham and Greenwich Health Visiting Team  are now running Breastfeeding Hubs at several locations in Lewisham. These are drop-in sessions with no appointment required. Please feel free to attend at any time during the two hour time slot.

The hubs run on:

  • Mondays 1.30pm-3.30pm: Downderry Children’s Centre, Shroffold Road, Bromley, BR1 5PD

  • Tuesdays 1.30pm-3.30pm: Sydenham Green Health Centre, 26 Holmshaw Close, SE26 4TH

  • Thursdays 10am-12 noon: Evelyn Children’s Centre, 231 Grove Street, Deptford, SE8 3PZ

  • Fridays 1pm-3pm: Ladywell Children’s Centre, 30 Rushey Mead, SE4 1JJ.
