Stay safe at work, get a rapid test

Rapid COVID-19 tests are available for anyone without coronavirus symptoms who needs to leave their home for work.

You can book an appointment via lewisham.gov.uk/community testing for a rapid, lateral flow test at the following Community Test Centres:

Civic Suite, Catford
The Green Man, Bromley Road, Downham (opening Mon 25 January)

Staff who continue to go into work should get tested regularly. Anyone who lives with you or is in a support bubble with your household can also get tested.

Tests are processed on site, meaning that a test result can be returned quickly on the same day, usually within an hour.

Test appointments must be booked in advance. Some walk-in slots may be available – please check the website before coming to a Rapid Test Centre.

1 in 3 people with COVID-19 don’t have symptoms and may be spreading the virus without realising.

Rapid tests are only for people who don’t have symptoms. If you do have COVID-19 symptoms, you must stay at home (self-isolate) and book a test via nhs.uk/coronavirus or call 119. Do not come to a Rapid Test Centre if you have coronavirus symptoms.
