Thursday 28th October 1.30 – 4.30pm Goldsmiths Community Centre, Castillon Road, SE6 1QD and Kitchen Buddy (http://littlemisstree.co.uk/) are putting on free half term children’s growing activities. Free food and drinks included. Join experienced gardeners in a foraging trail exploring Goldsmiths’ gardens, discover seasonal edible plants, pick and make your own dinner and learn to grow your own food.  We will need carers/parents to please stay with their children for the activity. Friday 29th of October, 11am-1.30pm: Grow Your Own Microgreens Workshop – Wild Rangers For this workshop we will be learning about how you can grow microgreens and sprouts at home. Microgreens tend to be promoted in higher end food health shops and often come at a premium cost. But growing them need not be that expensive. These little greens are healthy superfoods, packed with nutrients and flavours, and make great salads, garnishes and stir-fries. Book your place here.

Friday 29th of October 11am-1pm Campfire Cooking with Action For Refugees Lewisham (AFRIL) at the AFRIL Allotment for Refuge. This workshop is open to families connected to AFRIL’s Helping Hands and Rainbow Club projects.
