Mindful Families

Hello my name is Laura and I’m an Early Years practitioner and I facilitate some of the sessions at the children’s centres.



Hello my name is Cordelle Parkinson, I’m a community outreach worker and I also facilitate some of the sessions at the children’s centres.

We thought it would be nice to share with you some fantastic ideas for mindfulness that you can do at home with you children.


Some young children may not have the skills necessary to cope with the stresses that life presents to them and this can have a big impact on their ability to learn. So it is important to encourage and promote good mental health now.

Our Mindfulness videos focus on breath and the use of the five senses. This video is the first in our series and in in we show you a simple ‘Finger Breathing’ exercise.
