Fun free things to do this October half term

There’s lots of free things to do across Lewisham and neighbouring boroughs. Why not bring a packed lunch and explore and see somewhere new?

Parks and Nature Reserves

Did you know that Lewisham has over 30 parks and 12 nature reserves across the borough with  a variety of habitats and environments? All of them are free to enter and each has a different wildlife and mini beasts to find. Bring along some paper for bark rubbing and a bag to collect leaves and sticks to make a collage or nature table when you get home. Listen out for birds, smell the smells of Autumn and feel the crunchy leaves under your feet. Remember to wrap up well and you’ll have a great trip.
